We have our vegetables delivered daily so they are as fresh as possible, whether it’s Momotaro tomatoes grown on the Okayama plateau, or cabbages and Japanese mustard greens farmed in the region. Savor the freshness of our delicious salads.
Okayama’s local specialty, the Momotaro tomato, is the main ingredient in our Momotaro curry and Momotaro Hayashi rice dishes. Rotated on a daily basis, both dishes are prepared according to our own original recipe.
Ebimeshi: Fried rice with shrimp
Try this dish once and you’ll never look back. Although ebihan originated in Tokyo, it was brought to Okayama by a chef and quickly grew in popularity throughout the region. For this reason it is now considered a local specialty. We recommend enjoying it topped with scrambled eggs.

Mamakari no suzuke: Pickled sardines
This dish is one of Okayama’s most well-known and is made with Japanese sardinella. It’s so good that the name in local dialect literally translates as “borrow some rice,” referring to when people would go next door to ask for rice to accompany the delicacy. Relish the authentic flavor of this dish.
Kibi dango: Millet dumplings
Kibi dango are confectionary synonymous with Okayama. They are made by mixing millet with mochi rice flour to create soft and chewy balls of deliciousness. A limited number are served each day, so be sure you get yours before they run out!
Even our restaurant’s soy sauce is locally sourced, using Takatori “Fushi ichi” soy sauce produced in Bizen. It has a mellow flavor with a hint of sweetness that has been perfected over the last 100 years. Naturally, all of our rice is also local to Okayama. We cook this soft and fluffy koshihikari rice to perfection.
We recently added freshly-baked bread that is prepared from scratch each day to our breakfast menu. Be sure to try our flaky mini croissants and soft and slightly sweet morning bread, as well as daily specials such as danishes and vegetable breads.
We serve a healthy breakfast prepared with fresh, locally sourced vegetables that are delivered daily. Start your day the “Okayama” way.
