This is the main street in Marunouchi and is a beautiful, tree-lined avenue. There are many office buildings, brand shops, and large scale complexes on both sides. You’ll find plenty of fashion options, as well as stylish cafes and restaurants. It’s a great place for sightseeing, shopping, and finding that perfect souvenir to take home.

Imperial Palace East Gardens

This historic park, which spans across an area of 210,000 ㎡, used to be the place where the honmaru (main circle) and ninomaru (secondary circle) of Edo Castle once stood. Here you’ll find historical gems like the Ishigaki and Otemon Watari of Tenshukaku Castle Ruins, the Hyakuninbansho Guardhouse, the Fujimi Yagura, and other preserved ruins. Entrance is free, and in spring you can enjoy 280 cherry blossoms (including the Yoshino and Higan cherry trees) in full bloom.

This long, narrow park is located just off the moat on the west side of the Imperial Palace. It’s a popular spot in spring forits cherry blossoms, as Yoshino and other times of cerry trees line the park. In addition, the British Embassy is built on the other side of the moat.

This famous shrine that enshrines Emperor Meiji and Empress Akira, and is surrounded by 100,000 trees donated from from all over Japan. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery each season at the shrine’s inner garden.This garden includes Kiyomasa no ido, a well said to be dug by a warrior named Kiyomasa Kato.
